This work package will develop societal dialogues and a quantum technology game for quantum materials and quantum sensing, as ways to democratize science and technology in alignment with SDG.

To make these interfaces effective, it will address the types of understanding that different publics need to use and decide about technology at various development stages. It will also explore how narratives and transformative vision assessment can enhance active engagement and foster understanding while avoiding speculative ethics

The work package combines expertise in scientific understanding and creating dialogues on quantum (De Haro and Eline de Jong), societal dialogues (Dijstelbloem), science communication (Ivo van Vulpen), visualisation in science and the transfer of cognitive goods (Jeroen van Dongen), and quantum logic (Smets).
